Monarch Restoration - Founder, Jim Stampfl

After 18 years of working for fortune 500 electronics manufacturers and the threat of another corporate down sizing, I left to started second career as a kitchen designer.

With a background in engineering (including graphic, landscape, and rendering design), marketing and sales, and carpentry knowledge (thanks to working carpentry jobs during college and several homes), I landing a job with a local custom cabinetry and design shop. I was trained as designer (as per KNBA-National Kitchen and Bath Association design guidelines) and introduced to several standard and custom cabinetry product lines. Soon, I was greeting and designing for new clients.

After 10 successful years of satisfied clients, creative designs, custom cabinetry, and remodeling experience, I was anxious to start my own company.

Monarch Restoration was founded 2006. Now I work twice as many hours, and it’s the most enjoyable job I’ve ever had.
